Organisation Details

Through directly interacting with people with non-contagious illnesses and sharing their stories, this project aims to improve their emotional wellbeing and reduce the stigma towards illnesses in society. You will also work with local communities to encourage them to take up an active and healthy lifestyle.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will participate in and facilitate positive spaces, such as games, for people with non-communicable diseases (NCDs), such as HIV/AIDs, cancer, and cerebral palsy. You will also be involved in fundraising to cover basic needs for children with NCDs and running activities to local communities on awareness of these illnesses to reduce societal stigma. You will also be responsible for delivering activities to local communities about the prevention of general illnesses through living healthy lifestyles.

Logistics Details

A host family may be provided; if not, AIESEC in Indonesia will support you in finding accommodation. Airport pick-up and drop-off is provided.
