Project Details

Started since 2014, the project seeks to teach basic English to children at a monastery who are working for their family income. You will be teaching underprivileged children who have no access to basic education and already have to start working to contribute to their family’s income. You will be going to teach at, or nearby, a monastery where those children are staying. You will be teaching them basic English but the classroom should be as interactive as possible with fun activities and energizers. The curriculum is supposed to be developed by yourself after meeting the students you need to teach. Enjoy Myanmar’s culture while making a social impact!
