Coming back for the second consecutive year, She Leads is a platform to break gender boundaries and address the cognitive bias in the workplace in order to empower women to be more confident and advance their careers despite the obstacles they may face. This keynote aims to help women improve their self-confidence in their work and encourage struggling people to voice out their opinions.

Unconscious bias is still prevalent in today's workforce where women tend to face the short end of the stick when finding jobs. It might show in the form of exclusion from informal networks or social activities were often found in the workplace, as well as higher standards for women and assumptions about women’s interests or capabilities.

This panel discussion will explore real-life experiences faced as well as inspire delegates to break these gender stereotypes and climb the social ladder. After all, everyone can be successful through hard work irrespective of gender.

Tulika Tripathi is the Founder and CEO of Snaphunt, a leading remote hiring platform that helps employers hire talent anywhere in the world, and a senior business leader with more than two decades of experience, including experience in senior leadership roles within the world’s largest professional recruitment firms. Tulika has previously been Executive Director of Michael Page Geneva, Managing Director Michael Page Singapore and Michael Page India as well as Managing Director– Asia for Hudson Global. She is also the author of the book ‘Alice in Corporateland’ – a book on achieving career success, published by Penguin Portfolio.

Tanya Rolfe

Tanya’s 15-year legal career at some of the world’s largest law firms has honed her ability to influence and collaborate with people from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, Tanya spent 7 years in Real Estate legal teams before moving into legal team management. Tanya spent 8 years in Corporate M&A at both Simmons & Simmons and Norton Rose Fulbright in London. 

Tanya founded the Ladies Investment Club in Singapore and grew a team of 40 female investors which enabled female investors to build their investment portfolio and credentials, while providing hard to access funding to female founders. Tanya went on to launch a venture capital fund for women entrepreneurs and during her time at the fund, discovered the need for both more women investors and women entrepreneurs to be supported.

Tanya believes in tapping into the largely untapped capital held by women through education and empowerment to both increase wealth held by women and to drive more capital towards diverse founders. Sophia was built to facilitate both of these things through it’s platform. 

Outside of Sophia, Tanya is an avid cyclist and yoga enthusiast. Tanya also advises two start ups and mentors young founders.

Ivy Hu

Ivy joined UBS Hong Kong in 2014 and is currently a Managing Director in the Asia Equity Capital Markets (“ECM”) department, primarily focuses on equity and equity-linked transactions in the Greater China region. During her career, she has completed over a hundred transactions, including for some of the biggest clients in the region such as Meituan, JD.com, BYD, etc. Before joining UBS, she worked at Citigroup in the ECM Department.

Experienced Senior Vice President Communications with a demonstrated history of working in the technology and services industry and non-profit sector. Strong media and communication professional skilled in Marketing Strategy, Corporate Reputation, Organizational Communications and Management. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and women’s empowerment.

Imane Jamal Eddine

Passionate about Customer Experience and Centricity, I’m leading the Customer Success Unit (CSU) in Microsoft Singapore. The CSU unit comprises three teams of Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solutions Architects and Customer Success Managers for Microsoft Azure, Modern Workplace and Business Apps.

Through a well thought and defined Connected Customer Experience framework. I focus on continuously improving how we serve our customers, partners, ecosystem and community. Digital Transformation, Analytics, Cloud Customer Experience and FSI are my key interests.

Having spent 18 years in Asia between Japan and currently Singapore, I use my multicultural background and multilingual efficiency to bridge the gap between the different cultures within JAPAC itself and between APAC and Europe & US. It’s especially important that we build diverse successful teams and organizations.

I endeavor to be a servant leader always available for my teams and ready to help cross-departments. I’m an advocate of empowerment and accountability, and working on leading by example by empowering my teams and supporting them in their career growth.

My day to day job focuses on ensuring my customers are heard and well served, my P&L is achieving business revenue and margin forecast in terms of license, services and subscription, my teams are recognized and motivated, and finally never forgetting diversity and inclusion in every matter.

Outside of work, if I’m not with my two beautiful kids, I like to write. It’s therapeutic and helps me organize my thoughts.
